The City of Perth is hosting its inaugural OneCity Showcase today, Sunday, 22 March, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Wellington Square. This free community event features live entertainment, interactive stalls, and demonstrations from emergency services, including St John WA and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES). Members of the public who have recently visited transit hubs or large public gatherings are urged to monitor for symptoms including fever, tiredness, and a red blotchy rash. Furthermore, a seasonal advisory regarding Amoebic Meningitis remains in effect; residents are cautioned to avoid getting untreated freshwater up their nose while swimming in warm, stagnant water bodies during the remainder of the summer season.

Local Government Works: South Perth

The City of South Perth has confirmed ongoing construction and truck movements at several sites today, including Davilak Street in Como and Mill Point Road in South Perth. While most heavy works are restricted on Sundays, residents may notice site security and minor maintenance activities.
